
TRABZON
Trabzon is a province and the twenty-seventh most populous city in Turkey. According to TUIK data, the 2021 population of Trabzon was 816,684. The population of men was 405 thousand 47, and the population of women was 411 thousand 637. The province, which is located in the Eastern Black Sea Region of the Black Sea Region, has a coast to the Black Sea. Trabzon is known as the “city of princes” together with the two provinces. Evliya Çelebi said the following about Trabzon: “If this city is called small Istanbul, it is a place. It is a city decorated like İrem’s vineyards.” (Source: Wikipedia)
